These are subjects taught by the Universities of Computer Studies - Interim Board of Education for the purpose of continuous inter-term education for students from computer universities and affiliated universities.

Business Intelligence (BI) is the application of software technologies that provide business users with the business insights for better and faster decisions. This course is an introductory course for beginners or non-technical folks who want to sneak into the field of BI and understand different career options and associated responsibilities. It covers the core concepts of BI and demonstration on some BI tools. This will be a stepping-stone on to more advanced BI topics.

The main purpose of this course is to provide a foundation in data management concepts and database systems. Some of the topics covered are the following: introduction to database systems, data models, ACID properties and database design as the theory. We will also learn how to implement actual data queries using structured query language (SQL) to manage and retrieve data in relational database management systems.
